Vertical Condenser for Solvent Extraction
In the edible oil extraction production process, efficient recovery of solvent vapor is a key link in reducing costs and increasing profits. As one of the core equipment in the solvent recovery system, the vertical energy-saving condenser can quickly condense solvent gas volatilized from various equipment into liquid state, collect it into the solvent tank for recycling, significantly reducing solvent consumption and operating costs, and helping customers improve profitability.

Features of Vertical Condenser
- Efficient Heat Exchange: Vertical structure design, large heat exchange area, high condensation efficiency, saving floor space.
- Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction: Optimized heat exchange path, significantly reducing cooling medium consumption, comprehensive energy consumption reduced by over 30%.
- Environmental Compliance: Effectively reduces solvent vapor emissions, meets air pollutant emission standards.
- Flexible Customization: Heat exchange area, interface method, cooling medium (well water, river water, seawater, with deep well water being optimal) can all be customized according to site conditions.
Working Principle of Vertical Condenser
The vertical condenser adopts indirect heat exchange technology. Solvent vapor enters the condenser and exchanges heat with the flowing cooling medium (water). As the temperature drops, the solvent vapor condenses into liquid on the surface of the heat exchange tubes, flows down along the tube wall, and collects at the bottom recovery port.
This process is purely physical condensation, no chemical reaction, stable operation, and simple maintenance. Meanwhile, the latent heat released during condensation can be further utilized through a waste heat recovery system, improving comprehensive energy utilization efficiency.
Typical Application Scenarios of Vertical Condenser
- Oil and Fat Industry: Solvent recovery in soybean, rapeseed, peanut and other oilseed extraction processes
- Petrochemical Industry: Condensation and recovery of aromatic hydrocarbons, alkanes and other solvents
- Pharmaceutical Industry: Recovery of organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate
- Fine Chemical Industry: Solvent vapor treatment in the production of coatings, inks, adhesives
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What is the difference between vertical condenser and horizontal condenser?
The vertical condenser has a small footprint, suitable for space-constrained locations; heat exchange tubes are arranged vertically, condensate drains smoothly, not prone to liquid accumulation, and maintenance is more convenient.
Q2: How to choose the cooling medium?
Deep well water, shallow well water, river water, seawater, with deep well water being the best. Ensure sufficient water source during production.
Q: What is the delivery cycle?
20-30 working days for standard models, customized products determined according to technical solution.
