Stripping Tower for Oil Extraction Processing Plant

 

Application:
Stripping tower is mainly used in oil processing plant, mixed oil through second evaporation, by means of the principle of steam distillation, make the solvent and oil separation , finally get the high concentration mixed oil .


working principle:
According to the incompatibility between inert gas and oil mixture, inject direct steam of certain pressure to the concentrated oil mixture of high boiling point. Meanwhile, fill the coil with indirect steam for heating to avoid the condensation of direct steam in the oil mixture. Through direct contact of large area with the steam, volatile substances in the oil mixture would spread into the gas phase in proportion to achieve the purpose of separating low boiling point substances from the feed liquid.


The basic requirements for the stripping tower:
1. Gas or liquid into the stripping tube should be well distributed to achieve better stripping effect;
 
2. When the reaction liquid is synthesized through the stripping of CO₂, the content of ammonia reduces. In order to prevent the corrosion of the equipment, the stripping tower must be made of corresponding corrosion resistant materials. The stripping tower is the vertical falling film tubular heat exchanger. The top tube box is equipped with a liquid distributor, the lower tube box is equipped with a O2 gas inlet distribution device and a automatic liquid level controller.
 
3. Synthetic reaction liquid flows into the top tube box of the stripping tower from pipe orifice of N12, then distributed to each stripping tube evenly through the liquid distributor inside the top tube box. Because of the liquid distributor, liquid in the tube forms a layer of film and flows down. CO2 gas enters the tower from the bottom pipe of N10 and distributed to each gas tube through a gas distributor. Air stripping is produced through the countercurrent contact of the gas and the liquid. Heat required by gas stripping is supplied by the high pressure saturated steam from the high pressure steam drum. The steam is led into the shell side of stripping tower from N11. The steam condensate would be discharged back into the high pressure drum from pipe N6. CO2 and NH3 produced by gas stripping of synthetic reaction liquid would return to the high pressure condenser with CO2 feed gas from pipe orifice of N2. The gas stripping liquid would enter the low pressure circulation system from pipe N9.
